Poverty is a condition in which people do not have the means to afford basic human needs such as nutrition, health care, education,food, clothing and shelter. Poverty is one of the biggest problems that the developing countries are facing today. In spite of all , the problem of poverty has not been eliminated. Still a great segment is living below poverty line. Therefore , there is an urgent need to end poverty and find all the possible solutions to eradicate poverty and hunger otherwise, it will weaken the strong pillar of the countries.

Illiteracy... Ignorance...Unemployment or Underemployment...High population growth rate... Unequal distribution of income... Restricted access to employment opportunities and income... Large families... Caste system.Discrimination... High level of dependence on primitive methods of agriculture.
Effects of Poverty are:
Poor Education and Opportunities.
Low standard of living.
Stress and frustration on the mind.
Involvement in the activities like theft, stealing or begging for money.
Drug Abuse. Such people are more prone to violence, they might kill others for the greed and the need for money.
How to eradicate poverty:
The most forceful way to eradicate poverty is by educating the masses especially the women and the youths as they are the real foundation and the building blocks of a country. The poor people must be encouraged to set up small scale industries by giving loans at lower rates or helping the economically weaker sections of the society in the form of grants and subsidies. The governments have to take steps to improve their conditions. There is an urgent need to make the people literate and help them in making I better world.
