Boudicca was the wife of Prasutagus, King of the Iceni tribe. The Iceni tribe was one of the most powerful ones of Britain. When the romans invaded Britain, Boudicca and her sisters were brutaly mistreated by the romans as were many others. In the year 60 BC
she led a rebellion against roman rule in Britain. She led her troops and looted roman settlements:Camulodunum (Colchester), Londonium (London) and Verulamium (St Albans). The roman governor Suetonius assembled an army against the Celts.Although outnumbered, the roman army defeated Boudicca and her army thanks to their discipline and battle order.
