C'est facile , enfaite , tu peux comparer l'emploi du temps , tenue scolaire, matieres et reglements...
American students (or pupils ,no matter) start at 8 or 9 am (like you said) and then after lunch break they start at 1:pm .When they are in "college" in France, actually we are in high school in te USA. In their school subject, they have cooking, gardenning, and domestic abilitees like cleaning , ironing and serving ,unlike the French school , we haven't these subject , we don't do much sport but we learn a lot of languages...
The English people studies Religious Education (R.E) which French puplis son't.In the afternoon, they have sport or clibs , The afternoon are dedicated to sports and clubs First of all , the most popular sport is football with its cheerleaders. Two of the most popular sport are also basket , baseball ....The most popular clubs are sciences, gardening, chess, drama. In the French school , the afternoon is for all the class not especially for the soprt !Fianlly.... Et puis um'..The Englsh students
Don't wear uniforms whereas the French pupils do. But the English schools' rules are stricter and more! Je t'ai donné des inforamtions et tout , lmême si c'ets pas dans l'odre mais c'ets a toi de voir parce que c'ets ton ecole que tu dois comparer donc ....tu le connais bien ,j'espere ^^ By the way good luck! clubs*

1. French pupils don't have to wear uniform
2. They are allowed out of school at lunch time
3. There are no form teachers
4. French pupils are allowed to smoke in the yard
5. They learn English in Primary
6. They have to buy all their own materials, in some cases, their textbooks too
7. They generally (depending on the region) have Wednesday afternoons off, however they do have to go in on a Saturday morning.
8. The school day is longer - they start at 8 normally & lessons can go on til 5
9. Different exams - they don't do GCSE & A Levels.
10. They eat differently at lunch time - they don't take in sandwiches, they often eat a large lunch at home.
